About Us

Rhonda Scott

Rhonda Scott trained and worked as a therapist before becoming intrigued by jewelry design, so it is no surprise that symbolism, emotional responses, and personal stories frequently inspire her work.  She feels that color (whether rich and vibrant or subtle and translucent) is a powerful way to evoke feelings and bring meaning to a piece.  Rhonda has always been drawn to glass for its ability to transform light  and shine with color; in fact, as a child, she found herself mesmerized by the colorful stained glass windows in her little country church, even visiting the empty building during the week to look at the glass.  As an adult, she was excited to learn to manipulate molten glass through the art of lampwork.  Ever a student, Rhonda added metal clay as her newest medium.
